Oded Kafri - Performing Drummer, inventor of the CD -Rhythm for dance classes

Oded Kafri was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. He began playing the drums at the age of ten.
by the age of sixteen he moved to Paris, and was introduced to new drumming styles such as jazz/afro & funk , His playing style is characterized by a thorough dedication on time-keeping and swing, a great dynamic spectrum and an ability to play several styles of music very sensitively. These qualities may be the reason for his very wide use as a session drummer in musical settings of great variety

Oded participated in many popular TV programs and shows, such as "Dancing with the Stars" - with Eldad Shrem , WOMAD - with David D'Or and many others.

The idea of recording a CD dedicated for modern dance lessons came from a dance teacher for which I play drums in her class. After one of her lessons, she asked me: "Why don't you make me a CD of your own music so I can use your rhythms while you are absent?" .... I spend too much time looking for the right music for each different exercise - I wish I could have a solution in one CD...
